The “M” Family & A New Arrival

It seems like yesterday when I met Chester and Christie when they were newly engaged. It wasn’t yesterday, though, because look at them now. What began as two has now become FOUR with the addition of sweet Andrew Steven. What a joy it is to watch this family grow.

It is such an incredible honor to enter the home of a family when they are in those early days of adjusting to a baby. Baby adjusting to family, family adjusting to baby–it’s a beautiful and chaotic dance and this family is doing it well. I watched as they navigated the shift from two on one to two on two, as if they’d been doing it their entire lives.

Chester and Christie, I couldn’t be more happy for you all. What blessed kiddos you have to call you Mom and Dad. Welcome to our world, Andrew Steven.
