The “H” Family

Seth and Julie were among my very first clients. They were the first engaged couple who stood in front of my camera and theirs was the first wedding I ever photographed. To this day, I’m not sure how or why they asked me to photograph their wedding, but I’m so grateful they did.

Fast forward several years and that sweet, happy couple has become a sweet, happy family of three. Malachi is two years old now and to say that this little guy is loved would be the understatement of the century. He is adored and celebrated by his entire family and I was grateful to capture some moments together with all of the “H” Family.

When we selected our location for the shoot, I made sure that we would have enough ‘solid ground’ so this family wouldn’t have to get wet in the creek. Turns out, I had nothing to worry about–Grandma and Grandpa were the first to wade their way into the water with sweet Malachi in tow. Every member of the family followed suit and I simply stood back and took it all in. Their love is undeniable, their joy is infectious, and their adventurous spirits are admirable.

“H” Family, it was an absolute pleasure to spend an evening with you. Thank you for literally getting your feet wet and allowing me to witness the deep and genuine love you share.
