Jacob & Christine Are Engaged

I’ll never know how they do it. I’ll never fully understand how difficult it is. The long distance, the miles apart, the time and space and distance between the time when their hands will again fit into each others.

I’ll never know how they do it, but they do.

Jacob and Christine have figured it out. He is over there (over there could be anywhere at any time) while she is here. And still, their love has endured. I’ve always thought it took extra-special people to do military life–after meeting them I know it’s true.
