Maryn. Senior Class, 2022.

There are times, in the middle of a session, when I have the thought, I can’t believe I get to do this for a living. By “this” I mean, meeting new people, hearing their stories, seeing their joy. During Maryn’s session this thought crossed my mind several times.

Maryn is full of personality. She is joyful and authentic. She exudes kindness and confidence. The beauty captured in these images matches the beauty I know is on the inside. In talking with Maryn during our session, I noticed she seems to have struck the delicate balance of having her feet firmly planted in where she is right now, while also seeing the exciting changes that are just ahead. Oh my, her future is so bright.

Maryn, thank you for inviting me to capture your senior portraits. May your senior year be filled to the brim with joy and laughter, and enough quiet moments to take it all in.
