Luke. Senior Class, 2022.

Sometimes, I meet people and I just know. Call it a feeling, call it intuition, call it something in the gut. I just know. What do I know? I know that there is something deep inside. I know that what lies ahead is special.

I had that feeling with Luke. Luke is an athlete. He is smart and kind and funny. He is a lover of nature and all things outdoors. He adores his family and is devoted to his friends. He has a depth of experience beyond his years. Far beyond his years. He has made it through hard things and he’s still standing. He’s the kind of person who fills me with hope for the future of our world. When I drove away from this session I thought to myself, the world is going to be okay.

Luke, it was such a pleasure to meet you. I wish you all the best in the world as you continue your final year of high school and prepare for all the big things ahead. I have no doubt that, whatever road you choose, you will succeed.
