Xavier & Joellen Are Married

I will admit. It’s difficult to begin any blog without first mentioning the craziness of this year. All the unknowns, the uncertainties, the ups and the downs. It’s hard enough for those of us who are ‘carrying on with ‘normal’ life’, but what about those who are diving into a whole new season of their lives?

Xavier and Joellen were two of those people, who, in the middle of a pandemic, took a deep dive into a brand new life. Oh, the stress of the anticipation of a wedding day in 2020. The restrictions, the should we? or shouldn’t we’s? I know this is not an easy time.

Regardless of all the questions and unknowns that led up to their wedding day, on that day, everything seemed to melt away. It was a beautiful day of celebration, filled with meaning and hope and great expectation. Expectations not only for that day–the wedding day–but for all the days that will follow.

What a beautiful beginning it was. Xavier and Joellen, congratulations on embarking on your forever together. May you always be anchored by the love you share and the love that surrounds you.
